Anne-Marie Slaughter, geboren 1958, ist Politikwissenschaftlerin. Sie leitete zwei Jahre lang als Direktorin den politischen Planungsstab im US-Außenministerium unter Hillary Clinton, bis sie im Februar 2011 auf ihre Professur in Princeton zurückkehrte. Sie ist die Präsidentin und Vorstandsvorsitzende des Thinktanks 'New America'. Zuvor war sie Dekanin an der Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs.

Anne-Marie Slaughter is the current President and CEO of the New America Foundation. She served as Director of Policy Planning for the U.S. State Department from January 2009 until February 2011 under Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. A foreign policy analyst, academic and public commentator, she has taught at the University of Chicago and Harvard University, and is a former president of the American Society of International Law. She lives in Charlottesville, Virginia.
